![]() Part of my problem is this we can only have 32 users registered to the NVR and we have more people I'd like to give access to an individual camera via a browser / IP address. The can access them via the NVR or the Client Software (iVMS4200). I have two LAN IP addrs with a router so that both LANs can talk to each other right now the second LAN (that doesn't share the same subnet as the cameras) can't see the individual cameras. ![]() If I hi-light a specific camera and click the "Modify Netinfo" button and modify the netinfo, in particular, "add" the default gateway because it's blank (0.0.0.0), how is that going to affect the communication between that camera and the NVR? When using the Client Software-iVMS4200 > Device Management > Server Tab on the lower half of the screen where all my cameras are listed, there's a "Modify Netinfo" button. It works on one machine but not another, so I've got some trial and error to do. For details, see Enabling Hik-Connect Service on Client. Thanks again for your assistance I'm still working on the newer version of the client software. When adding the Hikvision device in the mobile client, if the Hik-Connect service is not enabled, the Enable Hik-Connect Service page will pop up. This section will introduce how to enable Hik-Connect service via the mobile client and the web browser. ![]() You can enable the Hik-Connect Service via iVMS-4200 Client Software, the web browser, Hik-Connect Mobile Client, etc. If the Hik-Connect service is disabled, you should enable it manually (exclude access control device and the EZIVZ device). I couldn't get it to record on motion detection (event) to the C. It records on motion detection just fine but I could only get it to work with a usb external drive. I have IVMS 4200 with Storage Server working fine on a Windows 7 laptop. Here's a capture of the front door camera settings for example. I'm trying to get the PCNVR software to record on my Windows Home Server 2011 server, cams, and iVMS-4200 on Windows 7 client are all on my LAN (192.168.1.x). I'm currently using the client software as a single PC solution for recording and live viewing. Post up or PM configs of ivms, I have used both client and PCNVR (as well as the standalone NVR software) successfully to record. The reason why I ask is both SW packages offer the same functionality but iVMS 4200 v2 client is a later release from Hikvision where they are trying to integrate the PCNVR functionality into the client via the Storage Server module. On the viewing pc, the iVMS-4200 client is run - and used to set up everything and view live cameras as well as playback video. On the recording PC the storage application (NvrStorageServer) is run (it does not have any user interface - it is controlled via the client). For configuration, on the client PC, I added the cameras, added the remote storage server, and setup a recoding schedule.Äownload hikvision laptop pc client software ivms 4200 On the viewing pc I installed the client software of the iVMS-4200. On the recording PC I installed the storage server software of the iVMS 4200. The client software is free to download and use, and support is available for free. Each client installation is configured, maintained and operated independently. The client software is widely applied to small-scale projects. There are modules for live view, playback, event management, e-maps, attendance and smart device data reporting, such as people counting, queue analysis, heat mapping, license plate recognition and facial recognition. ![]() The Windows-based iVMS-4200 is a versatile client software application for Hikvision video surveillance, access control and video intercom systems.
